# Bifrost

> Bifrost is the yield aggregation infrastructure for stablecoins, RWAs, and DeFi, providing standardized multi-chain yield integration through vTokens and SLPx.

Bifrost lets users stake assets and receive liquid vTokens that represent their staked positions while continuing to earn staking rewards. Unlike traditional staking, assets are not locked away: vTokens remain liquid and composable, so users can use them across DeFi or redeem them for the underlying asset.

For businesses and protocols, Bifrost provides SLPx, a ready-to-integrate multi-chain liquid staking infrastructure that makes it easier to add staking yield without building separate systems for each chain.

BNC is the native token of Bifrost and is used for network operations, governance, and tokenomics-related mechanisms such as vBNC and bbBNC.
