Products

In October, Bifrost's total value locked (TVL) reached $63,418,180, while the total minted supply of vDOT (TVS) amounted to 8,289,523.

Among them, vASTR showed outstanding performance, with its total minted supply (TVS) surpassing 36,910,978 and a total value locked (TVL) exceeding $2.05M, reflecting a monthly growth of 7.3%.

  • This month, Bifrost launched the Tokenomics 2.0 event series page: wave.bifrost.io. Currently in the reservation phase, users can connect their wallets to complete registration and earn WAVE points.
  • The Bifrost Dapp now supports using more tokens, including $BNC, $DOT, $GLMR, $ASTR, $MANTA, $ETH, and their LSTs, for Bifrost on-chain gas fees.

  • Omni.ls has added minting of vGLMR on the Astar network.
  • Bifrost has submitted a new loan proposal of 50,000 KSM to the Kusama Treasury, and the referendum is under discussion.
  • Bifrost Dapp version 1.9.2 update includes full support for EVM addresses, support for ETH cross-chain between Bifrost and Asset Hub, display optimization of the overall vToken redemption queue and display optimization of completed Farming cards.

Marketing

On October 17, Bifrost co-hosted a meetup for the Chinese community of Pudgy Penguins, where over 100 community members gathered in Shanghai. Bifrost Co-founder Lurpis delivered a keynote speech and engaged in a face-to-face exchange with NFT enthusiasts.

On October 23, Bifrost Co-founder Lurpis participated in a Binance live-stream event hosted by RealMoonlightShow. The event was themed "Exploring the Future: In-Depth Insights into Bifrost’s Liquid Staking and Innovative Tokenomics."

On October 23, Bifrost’s Liquid Wave event officially opened for reservations, with over 4,700 participants signing up. Liquid Wave is a series of points-based activities designed to facilitate the launch of Bifrost’s new economic model. It consists of three phases, through which participants can earn WAVE points. These points can be redeemed for a share of the BNC reward pool or converted into bbBNC to enjoy revenue-sharing benefits from the Bifrost protocol.

On October 24, Bifrost’s Dev Rel Lead joined an AMA event organized by MetaBlockchain. The event introduced new community members to Bifrost’s product features, governance mechanisms, and ongoing points activities, drawing considerable interest.

On October 29, Bifrost participated in the Hong Kong Fintech Week, where Thibault Perréard took part in the "Layer 1 & Layer 2: Continuing the Exploration of Digital Asset Innovation" panel discussion. The discussion explored potential new technologies and services in the coming years, advancements in scalability for the digital asset sector, and strategies to meet the needs of institutional participants.

On October 30, Bifrost joined the CryptoChallengers community for a text-based AMA session. The event introduced new community members to Bifrost's upcoming economic model and the details of the Liquid Wave points activities.
