This month, Bifrost completed the Runtime 26000 upgrade, improved vDOT yield and redemption efficiency, and advanced the Hyperbridge asset recovery process. Faroo concluded Pre-Mint Season 2 and continued developing PROS liquid staking and RWA yield products.
This month, vDOT delivered an APY of approximately 3.34%, compared with an average of around 2.85% for native DOT staking. Bifrost automatically selects and optimizes validators to keep assets delegated to active, high-quality nodes. More validator rewards are also planned to be distributed to vDOT holders, further improving its yield potential.
Fast Redeem demonstrated strong capital efficiency. Approximately 120,000 vDOT—equivalent to nearly 200,000 DOT—was redeemed in around 31 hours, about 34% faster than Polkadot’s native two-day unbonding period. By matching new minting activity with redemption requests, the mechanism gives users greater flexibility when exiting their positions.
Bifrost completed the first batch of asset recovery, distributing a total of 172.1009 vETH and 52,584.1143 MANTA to registered Ethereum addresses. Users not included in the first batch can continue registering through the Bifrost DApp.
Meanwhile, vETH minting and redemption services have resumed through Omni.ls, and previously queued redemption requests are now available to claim.
Faroo will continue developing its product ecosystem around PROS liquid staking and Hybrid Yield. stPROS combines staking rewards with asset liquidity and supports cross-chain composability, while tbPROS is designed for structured fixed-income opportunities.
On September 8, bidirectional DOT transfers between Bifrost and Hydration went live. Through the Bifrost DApp, users can preview their balance, transaction fees, and estimated amount received for a clearer and smoother cross-chain experience. The DApp also removed several deprecated assets and networks.
On September 21, Faroo Pre-Mint Season 2 concluded, and participating assets became available for redemption. As Faroo’s first initiative to bring Real Yield to the PROS ecosystem, Pre-Mint validated demand for sustainable yield products during volatile market conditions. Season 1 previously attracted more than 1.89 million stPROS in deposits and distributed approximately 16,000 PROS in rewards.
On September 30, Tyrone will join Where AI Meets RealFi, hosted by Pharos during Korea Blockchain Week, to discuss the convergence of PROS staking and real-world assets.
